Rightfield: an indie rock duo that you wont want to forget
Reed Hoelscher and Jack Blocker: A duo that grew up in Dallas and curated their craft in the college town of Fayetteville, Arkansas with their band Rightfield. I have seen them perform for packed crowds at backyard concerts and can envision them in the near future selling out at much bigger outdoor venues such as the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. You may have seen their name recently whether it be in a previous post with Rococo Disco or in Spotify’s soda playlist with over 170k likes.

Rightfield constantly puts out timeless bangers that your friends, parents, coworkers, and next-door neighbors that you’ve never met will love. Their debut album Rightfield, One reassures this with eloquently graceful tracks from Love Song and Himalayas to classic upbeat tunes (preferably blasted with the windows down) such as Daydreaming, Gone!, and Parents. If you took The Band CAMINO, The 1975, a sprinkle of the Gorillaz, and threw it in a blender: it would come out with the master minds behind the band Rightfield.
Their most recent single, Baby, fully embodies what Rightfield is capable of, and I look forward to what is to come next. If you haven’t listened to it yet stop whatever you’re doing and click this link. It’s for your own good that you give this absolute banger a listen. My apologies in the excessive use of the word banger but there is no other word nor synonym that accurately describes the sound of their music.
With over five million streams on Spotify already, don’t be surprised when you see some more zeros behind that number in the couple of next year or so. What’s next for Rightfield you may ask? Well, they are going on tour next week. Starting in Colorado Springs August 19th they’ll be kicking it off with The Unlikely Candidates so checkout their website for tickets to a dope concert near you.
