Welcome to Traitor Joe’s
Cornhole, shoeless guitarists, and grocery stores: two of these things have nothing to do with the other. No this is not a feature on some particular store that sells organic produce. This is Traitor Joe’s. One of the most interactive and entertaining bands of College Station. Imagine if Jerry Garcia had five kids in an alternate universe and one of them refused to wear shoes.
These talented studs played at Lake Walk a couple Fridays ago and absolutely killed it. They have unlocked a tier of music that is untold to the common man. Traitor Joe’s can play four songs in a row without stopping and you may not realize what exactly is going on but, it’s just a pure essence of blissfully grooving tunes. You don’t need to know what’s going on to know that it’s amazing. You just gotta feel it.
True rockers covering bands ranging from The Animals, Black Keys to Ungrateful Dead and The Beatles. As well as Lake Walk earlier this September, the band has put on shows at Southern’s, Herschel’s, and the Grand Stafford here in Bryan/College Station. They cannot seem to miss a beat and just absolutely kill it on stage.
If ever you catch them live, keep an eye out for their professional tambourine man because he can put on a stellar impromptu solo performance. Do yourself a favor and make sure to check out this rad band Traitor Joe’s.
