Keller Cox: The Rising Texas Country Singer

Keller Cox.png

I hope this post inspires you to check out the rising Texas Country music star, Keller Cox.  As a former Yell Leader at Texas A&M University, Keller has mastered his craft in storytelling and can captivate a crowd while keeping them entertained throughout his whole set on stage. Don’t be surprised when you see this stud at the Country Music Awards someday or selling out a concert at Kyle Field with his stellar songwriting abilities.

Each song of Keller’s is sung with such passion and appreciation for the love of Texas country music, and you can tell that he specializes in the art of songwriting. With his debut EP, Introduction, that was released in February, Keller features hit songs such as California Cowgirl and Tell it like it is. Keller allows himself to be vulnerable with himself in his lyrics and is comparable to artists such as Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry. The talented young artist is set to release his new song, Sticks and Stones, this Friday September 10th as well as playing at Hurricane Harry’s the same night with Flatland Cavalry.

Recently, the man dropped an acoustic music video for Tell It Like It Is that was recorded that the Chicken and I thoroughly enjoy it. Now residing in Austin, Keller plans to release two new songs and an album in the next coming of months. A favorite tune of mine of his I found is an unreleased song that he performed on his Instagram live earlier this week called Movin Out. Keller, you got to get that song out because it is a hit.

From Kyle Field and Stage 12 to Hurricane Harry’s and the Dixie Chicken, Keller has performed all over College Station and will soon perform all over the world. Keller’s got the capacity skyrocket through the country music scene and I’m excited to see where he goes. Be sure to grab a ticket to Hurricane Harry’s to see him play and pre-save his new song Sticks and Stones!
